Our story

From Nigerian wild, harvested with reverence.

OGHO began with a simple frustration: most honey on UK shelves had been heated, blended and stripped of everything that made it interesting. We wanted the real thing — wild, unprocessed, raw.

OGHO honey

Hand-harvested. Never heated.

We work directly with small-scale beekeepers across the African bush, who harvest from wild and semi-wild colonies. The honey is filtered only enough to remove wax — never pasteurised, never blended.

Each jar is sealed in the United Kingdom and ships straight to your door.

Most honey tells you where it was packed. OGHO tells you where it came from.

In the forests and bushlands of Nigeria, bees gather nectar from diverse wild flora untouched by industrial farming. The result is a honey with remarkable depth, character and richness.

OGHO is sourced directly from trusted beekeepers and family-owned farms, then carefully prepared for those who appreciate authenticity, quality and exceptional taste.

We believe honey should be more than a sweetener. It should be an experience.

Every jar of OGHO carries the story of wild landscapes, traditional beekeeping and a commitment to preserving the natural integrity of honey.

Rich. Raw. Revered.
